Asotu Anniversary Event: Island Vacation

Nani had been very much against letting her sister not only get on a plane alone, but to fly to another country be herself with absolutely no one with her.
Akela had entered a contest to win a free vacation, with everything paid, and had been very much surprised when she got a call telling her that she had won.
Her sister, being a bit paranoid, and thinking that it might be a potential kidnapping, had started a huge argument on why she really shouldn’t go.
Kekoa had listened to them for a while, when he proposed that she could take one of the asotus with her, if that made Nani feel more at ease with the situation, since her sister really wanted to go.
After a quick call to the traveling agent that held the contest, they were told that she could bring a pet or two, it wouldn’t make any difference.
Nani had sighed and told her sister that she could go. But only if she brought two asotus with her, for protection, as she put it.
Not wasting any time, Akela had picked Zul and Mandokir, and after packing a few things for both them and herself they had gone to the airport and after saying goodbye to Nani and Kekoa they had boarded the plane.
They had gotten a few surprised looks when the two asotus got of the plane at the airport on Basse-Terre, the left island of Guadeloupe.
It was probably the first time anyone there had ever seen an asotu, and Akela walked next to her two companions with a big smile on her face.
During the ride to the hotel she had answered more questions than she could count about asotus, as well as questions regarding the two she had with her.
Once at the hotel, Caraibes Bonheur in Deshaies, both her and the two asotus felt tired and went to bed early in their bungalow.
Getting up early, Akela took Zul and Mandokir with her down to the beach, that was well placed right outside their bungalow.
The two asotus happily ran straight into the sea, diving into the crystal clear water. Akela followed soon after.
They spent most of the day at the beach. Akela would only leave for a short period to get something to eat, while Zul and Mandokir just caught a fish or two for themselves.
During their stay at the hotel, Akela had made many new friends, many of whom were very interested in the asotus, and she would even let them ride them if they asked.
On the last day, Akela had gone with a group to go snorkeling out by a nearby island called Îlet à Kahouanne.
The island in question could be seen from the beach at the hotel, and Akela had thought about swimming there with Zul but as she was unfamiliar with currents, she had put that idea to the side.
During the boat ride to the island Zul and Mandokir swam next to it, showing of how good they were in the water, and getting much praise from the others on the boat.
Once on the island, Akela spent most of her time diving and looking at the reefs and all the fishes as did her two asotus.
Zul and Mandokir happily swam around in this new ocean, to them it felt almost like home. Some things were different but they didn’t care, this was a new adventure for them.
No huge beast or other creatures to take care of, just having fun and do something to relax. Despite all the attention and love they got from all the new people they still found it relaxing.
While they swam around in the clear water, watching the colorful fauna around them, they did keep an eye on Akela, as the girl could sometimes get distracted if she found something interesting.
Together with the tour group they spent most of the day on the island, the supervisors had even taken food with them that they served to the group later.
Once it was time to go back, everyone was in a good mood, and as the entire group would leave the hotel the same time the next morning, they all asked Akela if she could tell them more about Daiabon.
While they waited on the bus that would take them to the airport, pretty much everyone wanted to take a picture together with Zul and Mandokir, which Akela happily took for them.
Even the staff at the hotel had asked for one during breakfast. As Akela told a few others about Daiabon, she let some kids play with Zul and Mandokir after their parents had asked.
Akela and her two asotus had fallen asleep quickly once they were on the airplane, and slept during the entire flight. Once they were back on the ground, they were met by Nani and Kekoa.
Smiling to the two, Akela told them all about her vacation and that both she and the boys had a really good time.
