Personality: Jasmine, like most of her kind, is very loyal to her owner, often following her around wherever she goes. It doesn't matter what Oyuna is doing because Jasmine will simply watch her owner work. Anything that is new or unfamiliar to her will have her cocking her head to the side as she watches. Jasmine use to be very jealous whenever she would see her owner working with other horses but, as Oyuna has worked with her, Jasmine has come to tolerate it as she now knows that no other horse will take her place. Jasmine is very elegant in her movements, having a very smooth stride even at the trot and canter. As one might imagine, Jasmine is very popular with little girls. During the summer, it is not uncommon to find Jasmine with a flock of little girls giggling as they braid her mane with flowers in it. She loves the attention and even seems to be even more gentle around children. In fact, Jasmine loves getting baths and being groomed, though she's a little tense when it comes to clippers. She doesn't mind the farrier when he's tending to her hooves, however, she dislikes shoes of any kind. Once she sees them, she becomes figity, doing her best to stand still but wanting to show her disapproval. Jasmine would rather be kept in her pasture to herself or be with people rather than be with a herd. If, however, she must be put with a herd, she will stay farther away and will not even attempt to join the group. Feeding her can be a bit of a pain, as she refuses to eat alfalfa cubes. When she's given any amount in her feeding, she will toss them across her stall or pen, ears flat against her head and continue to eat until she encounters another one. On the flip side, Jasmine loves anything with a peppermint flavor!
